I own a vodafone 845 2.1. At first i thought that removing these preinstalled apps can only be done by rooting your device. Because of the risk involved i didn't want to do that, so I found another way.
First you should google Z4root, it is an android application which gives you superuser rights without messing up your phone. After that in the market look for Titanium backup. This will help you easily delete any program neccesary.
Now back to the phone. Start the Z4root and press temporarly root (at first i didn't succeed, and i needed to root and un-root just like that, to make it work). And when you have done this in Titanium backup find the program you want to delete.
For those who are lazy at reading:
1) Download Z4Root (http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/Enhancements/z4root-110178.shtml) or google it!
2) Download Titanium Backup (Can be found in android market)!
3) Install both in your phone.
4) In Z4Root press temporarly root or permanent root!
5) Then inTitanium Backup find the ones you wish to delete an thats it!
(I had to root then un-root and then root again to make this work)
Should work on most android phones.. not sure!
